Love Gangnam Kimbob so much. Very laid back atmosphere. Service is always hospitable and upbeat. Food options are plentiful and delicious. You also get a lot for your dollar here imo. The kimbop is very filling and always leaves me feeling good about my choice to eat out given the portion of veggies contained within. I usually cycle between the tonkatsu, tempura shrimp, ssam and spicy ssam kimbops, while my wife loves to order their shin ramyun. They also have some interesting combos for lunch and dinner I’ve yet to try, but come with a variety of food that seem like a great option when you don’t only crave one thing. I can’t recommend this place enough. P.S. they do discounts during their happy hour

Hidden gem in Artesia! A small, family-run spot with the nicest owners serving up seriously loaded kimbap. The rolls are made fresh to order, with over 20 varieties such as bulgogi, unagi, tempura, tonkatsu, ssam, and plenty of vegetarian options. Their kimbap stands out with generous fillings with more ingredients than rice in every bite. And don’t skip the rest of the menu! The spicy rice cakes, chicken skewers, sodduk, and yubu were all so good!

Absolutely the best kimbop I have ever had and I eat a lot of them. Better than the ones in Seoul. I tried their kimchi kimbop and excellent fresh ingredients. Can’t wait to go back.

Gangnam Kimbob is a relatively new spot, located right next to the Ondo coffee shop, and it is absolutely worth stopping by. I ordered the tonkotsu kimbap, and it was fantastic. The portion was very generous, the vegetables were well seasoned, and the pork tonkotsu was fresh, crispy, and not dry at all. Every bite had great texture and flavor. The interior is simple and set up for quick dining. There are about ten seats, mostly counter-style seating, which works well if you just want to sit down for a fast and satisfying meal. The space is clean and casual, which fits the style of the restaurant. Service was great. The staff offered helpful recommendations, and their suggestions were spot on. I definitely plan to come back and try the other kimbap options, although I might be tempted to just order the tonkotsu again. Overall, a delicious and convenient stop for high quality kimbap.

Gangnam Kimbob served up my personal favorite gimbap in ALL of OC. I tell everyone I know about how amazing this small takeout spot is! I love how large just one piece is and how the structural integrity is solid so they don’t just fall apart. I think for the price, you will get a very filling and delicious meal with just 1 order. I always order the Bibim (my fave), Tonkatsu, Shrimp, Unagi, and Tuna. They’re fresh and made to order and there’s a small seating area inside. Lastly, service is always so helpful and friendly!
